Departs from Portree at 8.45am.

First stop is the Fairy Pools. The Pools are located in one of the most dramatic landscapes on Skye. Here you have about 1 hour to leisurely walk to the Pools, in the shadow of the Cuillin Mountains.

Time for a short break at Talisker Distillery. This is the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye, producing an alluring, sweet, full-bodied single malt. We shall go through the Visitor Centre
(not on the tour) and if available sample one of the fine whiskys produced here.

Next stop is Dunvegan Castle, the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland and has been the ancestral home of the Chiefs of clan MacLeod for 800 years.

We travel to the far west of the island to the dramatic Neist Point. This is the best place on the island to spot whales, dolphins and sharks. Here we transport you to the edge of the world, with its beautiful scenery, awesome skies and endless ocean.

We make it to the Fairy Glen, then drive right up to the Trotternish ridge at the Quiraing, lying in the far North of Skye. The Quiraing is a landscape used in many sci-fi films, known for its wonderful rock formations and stunning coastal views. This is a place like no other, part of the largest landslip in Europe.

Kilt Rock with the distinctive pillars and beautiful waterfall with views across to the Torridon hills on the mainland, this weird landscape is used as a film location for many Sci-Fi movies, and is known for it’s amazing rock formations.

The Old Man of Storr is one of the iconic natural features of the dramatic Trotternish Ridge. The ridge is a mighty inland cliff, the longest in the UK, rising to a height of 720m. This amazing landscape should be part of any tour to the island and has made Trotternish the most popular visitor destination on Skye.

Drop off in Portree main square at circa 6.00pm.
